On the Fourth Day of Christmas…

Christmas Decorations

So today is the four post of my Twelve Days of Christmas and today it’s all about the old decorations. Now I love decorations, they really add to the whole festive theme, but and this is the big question: how much is too much?

We all like to put the decorations up and flounce around in tinsel for a good 5minutes. But then it comes to the point when we thing, hang on has this got tacky? Oh no, what will the neighbours think? I can’t have tacky decorations!

Is there ever a limit? Well, personally I think there definitely is a limit, and that limit should not be breached! When there are so many lights and decorations that your house looks like something out of a cartoon that is the time to reassess an take some down. It’s simple, if you can’t see at least half your house clearly then you’re bordering on tacky. Call me a kill-joy if you must.

So my advice is to get those decorations up, but in moderation, we don’t want a freak show going on now do we? Nobody wants to admit that it is because of their house that the electricity for the road is being cut off! So this Christmas let’s keep it orderly but festive! Woo, it’s another day closer to Christmas!

It’s a short one but without doubt you’ve just had your daily fix of Christmas.
